Sign Up for New Safety Training
Bi-State Development has launched a new virtual training program to support the safety and security of our team, our customers and the communities we serve. You will have an opportunity to participate in live, virtual training sessions that cover De-Escalation, Human Trafficking, Trauma-Informed and Safety.
All BSD team members are encouraged to participate in the new training, but priority will be given to all operators, front-line and operations team members.
The new training program began on January 5, and will be offered every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday through July. Please get approval from your supervisor before signing up.

Training Details
Our new safety training program runs from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from January 5 to July 8. Four virtual training sessions will be offered each day on trauma-informed training, de-escalation, human trafficking, and safety management systems (SMS), drug and alcohol and system security awareness.

This program is being funded by the Federal Transit Administration, and is being conducted in partnership with Alive & Well STL, Truckers Against Trafficking and the Metro Public Safety Department.
